Akazi Kanoze is excited to announce the launch of the Akazi Kanoze Alumni Network, which will give graduates of all Akazi Kanoze programs the chance to participate in peer-to-peer networking groups, professional development programs, and English Conversation Groups.

AKA is building a public space where young people can get together to share experiences and connect with peers about new learning experiences. Akazi Kanoze graduates are changing the way Rwandans go to work by building game-changing businesses as passionate entrepreneurs and imaginative employees. Partnering with the private sector, Akazi Kanoze is expanding its transition to work services to incorporate job matching and internship placement to the family of Akazi Kanoze programs, to ensure that each Akazi Kanoze graduate has access to lifelong livelihood opportunities.

Who are the Akazi Kanoze Alumni?

An Akazi Kanoze alumni is anyone who has participated in one of our work readiness trainings. Alumni come from across Rwanda and represent agro-business, construction, entrepreneurship, hospitality, and ICT sectors, among others. AKA is building a professional network of young Rwandans who are ready for work and excelling in their field.

What is an Akazi Kanoze Network Chapter?

An AK Network Chapter is a small group of peers who meet regularly to exchange ideas, thoughts and experiences on issues relating to their field of employment or study. By joining an AK Alumni Network Chapter, AK alumni will achieve the professional and personal growth they desire by sharing experiences, making professional connections, and pioneering professional opportunities in an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect.Network chapters will allow members to expand their professional contacts, as well as discuss opportunities and challenges within a peer-to-peer professional environment. Network chapters will be lead by Akazi Ambassadors, who serve as the point of contact for Akazi Kanoze Access. Our Akazi Ambassadors will act as directors of their chapter, managing membership and activities.
